We believe the redemptive nature of the Lord can be seen through the avenue of recreation. All too often recreation has become simply another term for intramural sports or play. While these are indeed aspects of recreation, they limit our perspective on its true definition. The Recreation Ministry team at TWUMC understands recreation as active participation in life that contributes to the restoration of one’s being with God as He intended (Body, Mind and Soul). To sum that up, it’s doing anything that brings you back into relationship with our great God.
The mission of Recreation Ministry at TWUMC is to provide the desired recreational activities that restore people back to God’s intent of wholeness and holiness.
