Alcoholics Anonymous

A fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strength and hope, as they help one another recover from alcoholism. Mondays at noon in D214.

GriefShare

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. You don't have to go through the grieving process alone. Our next session begins Sunday, February 15 from 3:00pm to 4:30pm in Room D208. Cost for workbook: $12.00.

DivorceCare

Are you separated or divorced? Are you looking for a place for you and your children to heal? If so, please attend DivorceCare and DivorceCare 4 Kids (DC4K), meeting Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm, March 25-May 27.

Passage through Divorce for Women

The Passage through Divorce for Women weekly small group provides encouragement and strength to women who have experienced the pain of divorce through a variety of book studies and/or DVD series. This class will meet in the Infant Care Room from 1:30pm to 3:00pm each Sunday.

Nar-Anon

The Nar-Anon Family Groups are a worldwide fellowship for those affected by someone else's addiction to drugs. As a Twelve-Step Program, we offer our help by sharing our experience, strength, and hope. Please call Caring Ministries for more information. 281.297.5953.

The Gathering Place

The Gathering Place offers hope and support by serving families with loved ones who have mild to moderate Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. This program gives the caregiver an opportunity for respite from care-giving while their loved one enjoys a fun-filled program, including crafts, simply chair exercises, music, entertainment and a light lunch. The program is free of charge and will meet once a month at our church.  Please contact us for additional information. Meal Ministry

Can you cook? Then we need you to join the TWUMC Meal Ministry team of volunteers who cook meals for members struggling with a serious illness, or have lost a loved one. The mission of the Meal Ministry is to extend the love of Jesus Christ to our church family by supporting them during a time of crisis. It's a wonderful way to make a difference in someone's life.

PACE

Post Abortion Counseling and Education

A small group designed for women with questions about a past abortion, accepting forgiveness from God, and how to forgive themselves. For information, call 936.441.7755, ext 3

Parkinson's Support

This group is for all members of the community and their caregivers who are dealing with Parkinson's Disease. Meetings are on Thursdays.

Job Search

Devised to assist the unemployed and under-employed through spiritual encouragement and the networking efforts of its leaders and participants. This ministry meets every Wednesday evening at 7 pm in Galaway Conference Room located behind the Church Office.

Healing Service

For those seeking personal, emotional, and spiritual healing. Held the first Sunday of every month at 5 pm in the Robb Chapel.

Cancer Support
