200 Men to Juarez
Two Weekends. 200 Men. 20 Houses.
Join 200 men who will go to Juarez, Mexico, to build small homes for families living in hovels made of pallets and cardboard. Last year's trip was so powerful that we have decided to offer two trips in 2008.
Date:
November 13-16. This trip departs from IAH on Thursday afternoon and returns Sunday evening.
Invite Others:
Last year many men recruited others from their small group or Sunday School class -- your friends
will thank you if you get them
to join you. That's a promise.
What’s Needed:
More details will follow as we get closer, but a Tetanus shot is required and a Hepatitis A vaccination is recommended. Passports are also recommended.

Quest
Join Rob Renfroe and the 450 men who attend our flagship ministry for guys. Choose either Tuesday mornings (6:00 to 7:00 am) or Sunday evenings (7:00 to 8:15 pm). Quest meets for eight weeks in the fall and for eight weeks at the beginning of the year. The present session begins on Tuesday, January 15, and Sunday, January 20. No need to register, just plan on coming. Both days are held in Wesley Hall.
The title of the current series is: MORE.
Rob’s first talk begins: “You know what your problem is? You want too little. Your dreams are too small. You believe you’re less than you are. And your life mission isn’t big enough for you. And I’m here to change that.”
It ends: “If you will become aware of the more that’s going on around us; if you will begin to live for the life mission you were created for; and if you will believe that you are all that God says you are – your life can be more than you ever dreamed and the impact you’ll make on the lives of others will be more than you ever imagined.”
